Erg Chigaga Is The Largest And Still Untouched Of The Major Ergs In Morocco, The Other Is Erg Chebbi Near Merzouga. This Erg Made Of Beautiful Dunes Is Located In The Drâa-Tafilalet Area About 45 Km West Of The Small Rural Oasis Town Of M’Hamid El Ghizlane, Itself Located About 98 Km South Of The Town Of Zagora

DAY 1: MARRAKECH -ATLAS MOUNTAINS – DRAA VALLEY -ZAGORA

Erg Chegaga desert trip will start at 08:00 pick up from your Marrakech accommodation, winding up through the Atlas Mountains over the High Atlas Mountains where the views are amazing. Stops for taking the pictures. We arrive door of Sahara Desert (Ouarazazate) for lunch before we leave to cross the Draa valley which is largest valley in Morocco 1100 Km at the foothill of the anti-Atlas mountains. Along the way, several palmeraies, Kasbahs Dinner and Overnight at your accommodation Zagora

DAY 2: ZAGORA –M’HAMID -ERG CHIGAGA

After breakfast, we drive to M’hamid El Ghizlane passing by the village of Tamagroute where we will have the opportunity to visit on the oldest Quranic libraries in south of Morocco, then the pottery factory. Lunch will be taken in local Berber family in M’hamid. Afternoon, we continue our way for Erg Chigaga dunes crossing different features of the desert; ‘Erg’, Hamada’ Desertique. Erg Chigaga dunes are far away from civilization and the silence of the sand is overwhelming. Ride your camel across the dunes and enjoy one of the most brilliant sunset over the color sand dunes . DAY 3: ERG CHIGAGA – IRIKI – FOUM ZGUID- OUARZAZATE

After breakfast, the road takes us through another 80 km of the desert with varying scenery, we first cross Lake Irki, the mountains and fossils following the old track of “Rally Paris Dakar” to Fm Zguid the first village after the desert, and where the paved road begins. After lunch continue to the Berber village of Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets and rugs, we arrive Ouarzazate late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation in Ouarzazate.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – TELOUAT MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we can enjoy a visit of the film studios located just outside Ouarzazate, which is known as Hollywood of Africa. then continue to visit the world heritage site of Kasah Ait Ben Hadou, previously used as a set for more than 15 Hollywood including “Gladiator” “and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. We continue our way to Marrakesh through the Ounila valley and telouat kasbah. Lunch can be taken in telouat. Arrival at Marrakech by evening tour will end.
